SIGMA-HR was founded in Montreal in 1992 by Patrice Poirier who is still heading the company. Initially, SIGMA-HR specialized in the development of software applications in the field of Occupational Health and Safety (workplace accidents, occupational diseases, and occupational risks).
Over the years, several functionalities were added to the SIGMA-HR solution, which is now an integrated HR software for medium and large organizations that allows you to manage in the same tool:
Building on its success, SIGMA-HR decided to cross the Atlantic to conquer the French market by associating with business partners in 1999, then by creating a French subsidiary in 2004.
Today, SIGMA-HR is implemented in Canada and France and our customers used the application in over twenty countries in the world.
In May 2022, SIGMA-HR acquired Horasphere, publisher of Timesphere time management solution, based in Saguenay, Quebec. SIGMA-HR now offers the most complete HRIS suite on the market, adding to its offering in-depth automated work schedule planning capabilities.

Carbone Boréal
Carbone Boréal is a program that helps reduce carbon gas emissions by planting trees. Thus, in 2021, we contributed to the planting of 623 trees to compensate for the plane trips made by our employees between Paris and Montreal.
Le Club de Soccer Montréal Centre
The Montréal Centre Soccer Club is the result of the merger between Les Boucaniers Soccer Club and Rosemont - La Petite-Patrie Soccer Association. The mission is to provide soccer enthusiasts in the neighborhood and surrounding areas with a supportive environment to develop their soccer skills in an atmosphere of camaraderie and mutual respect. The ultimate goal is to create better athletes and better citizens. We are proud to be the sponsor of CS Montreal Centre for the 2022 season.
Léo Aubin, Quebec BMX champion in the 14 years old category
We are committed to supporting young talent! That's why this year we chose to support Léo Aubin, a rising star in BMX. This young 13 year old athlete became last weekend the Quebec champion of his discipline in the 14 year old category. During the regular season, Léo competes with 16 year old riders.
